Next gig: June 3rd 2017 at The Bridge

The new line-up of Buffalo Revisited will make its debut at iconic Sydney hotel The Bridge on Saturday, June 3.

Buffalo Revisited celebrates the music of singer Dave Tice's '70s outfit Buffalo, lauded as one of the most influential hard rock acts in Australia.

New members, guitarist Troy Scerri (ex-Daredevil) and drummer Marcus Fraser (Bitter Sweethearts), join Tice and bassist Steve Lorkin in a fresh configuration.

Dave Tice is a founding member of Buffalo, who released five albums from 1971-77 to build a formidable underground reputation.

Buffalo formed in Sydney in 1971. Largely unrecognized by commercial radio, Buffalo was one of the country's first exponents of the style heavy metal, pre-dating other pioneering Australian hard rock and heavy metal acts, such as Coloured Balls, AC/DC, The Angels, Taste and Rose Tattoo.

Like many pioneering heavy metal acts, Buffalo incorporated strong influences of blues-rock and psychedelia. The band's sound paralleled that of Black Sabbath, who they supported on their first Australian tour.

Buffalo's first three LPs, "Dead Forever", "Volcanic Rock" and "Only Want You For Your Body", are true classics with original copies commanding substantial dollars.

Tickets avaliable through Moshtix, Oztix and Ticketek.

Buffalo Revisited and Tamam Shud unite

BUFFS SHUDIt's true. The names Buffalo and Tamam Shud are appearing on the same poster for the first time in 46 years! Buffalo Revisited and Tamam Shud are co-headlining at the Bald Faced Stag in Sydney on Friday, September 9.

It's a paring of two legendary names of the Australian prog, psych and heavy rock and roll scenes. A toss of the coin wil decide the playing order.

The last time both band names appeared on a bill was for the Uralla Pop Festival in the '70s. Also on the bill were Country Radio, Company Caine, Piranha, and a band called Bogoslav who featured a very young Don Walker.
